    This is bloody fantastic news. Minny, thanks for passing on the BCA (best coach available).

    Monty Williams will be a terrific head coach in this league within two years. He's too good to keep as second chair.

    being a longtime former player (in NY no less) and now a national broadcaster, he would give an organization a recognizable face. Also, besides just knowing how their business works and being able to communicate what they want to hear, I've noticed the media playing it much nicer with someone who was once one of their own.
