On the contrary. I loves me some Hank The Dwarf. That's one funny sumbitch right there, I tell you what.
I told KP that my close friend was in the hospital having the same procedure for the same heart condition as Lamarcus Aldridge, and two hours later a package arrived at the hospital containing some Blazers gear and get-well-soon wishes from the Blazers. I don't care what anyone says about KP, he has a "get out of the doghouse free" card, as far as I'm concerned.
I find him less annoying on here than on O-Live.. maybe cause he has to censor himself over there. I have hated him less now
Yeah, that KP is a first-class prick. That's great to hear he lived up to his promise that quickly. Hopefully your friend is feeling better.
Well said and Repped this is EXACTLY what is going on. That and some local sports "journalists" who are desperate for some web hits for their dying newspaper during a slow summer in a one sport town. I can't wait for the next Oden is a bust article from Quick. P.S. Repped senor stomp!
I don't have a problem with national media taking shots at KP . . . in fact maybe that is what is needed to eliminate any mystique that has been built up about him. The fact that KP is going through some rough times and how he handles these rough times could be used to get rid of any animosity against KP . . . if any exists.
Here's an interesting item from Dave at Blazer's Edge: "I have it from two independent sources among the national media corps that much of the news and criticism attributed to the Blazers this year via "unnamed sources" has actually stemmed from Denver Nuggets GM Mark Warkentien. Naturally neither of these sources is willing to go on the record but they are in a position to know, every bit as much as every "unnamed GM" is in a position to know about the inner workings of the NBA."
This is all from Mark Warkentein in Denver. He spreads venom and writers are feeding off each other. Jealousy is an ugly thing.
