That's the only part of Drew that actually became a man.

Odom is so fucking stupid now. He says he wants to take the offer but can't convince his agent?! WTF! That's just excuses! Fucking leave.

I hate when players say things that are so heroic but not true. Odom said he's going to say in LA because it's his home and he CANT leave it because he loves it so much etc.. Kobe said about taking a paycut so Buss could pay for other players. I have a feeling Kobe didn't even have to negotiate with Buss/Mitch about that paycut, they just let that one go. But I'm so fucking pissed at Odom. Why do you have to say shit that's not true, did he really expect to get something like 15MIL a year? I liked him a lot, but now he just shits on his good reputation atm. If a S/T goes down, Mitch is going to suprise us again and Odom finds himself somewhere in the middle of nowhere.

I'm not sure where these numbers are coming from. I don't think the Lakers ever offered either of those deals. I'm almost positive the last offer was the 3 year/ $9M and Buss took it off the table after Odom rejected it. Can't imagine Buss making a final offer yesterday and then throws out two more offers that are more lucrative.

If a team wants to sign Odom for 5 year/$50M let him walk.

The numbers come from an insider who was in Las Vegas. Ramona broke the Lakers taking the deal off the table and creating a deadline, she seems credible enough. If Buss can offer 27/3 I don't see it a stretch to hand out 36/4.

Re: Lakers had made new offer of 36/4, 30/3 to LO.

Possibly, but if Jerry is involved I can't see him increasing an offer and then increasing again. Once he gets involved his offers are firm and don't stay on the table long.

There just seems to be something else to this story based on this information. Basically Jerry offered Odom what he wanted and Odom agreed to the offer, but his agent didn't. That doesn't make any sense.

Either the offer was never made or the agent is jerking both Odom & Jerry around because he has a back end deal he promised to get done.

If Odom wanted to get it done he would, he's just overestimating his value. He simply thinks he could get Hedo money and is trying to stall, to raise our price.

Supposedly, the LA Times said that Buss offered 30M/3 years and 36M/4 years.

Great deal but supposedly, Odom works for his agent, so he didn't sign the contract.

Just offer him full MLE money. That's what he's been looking for all along, apparently.

Lakers will not offer year 4, that is the sticking point to this whole issue.

    per Bucher

According to him, if you believe him, then that means we never offered 4/36

Then the offer must've been 30/3. Which is a pretty damn good contract already.

Nah I don't believe Bucher as a Laker insider over Ramona and the LA times.

"Sports columnist for the Los Angeles Daily News"

She broke the offer being taken off the table, and some other stuff. She's like another emplay, I see them as equals at least.
