So, the NBA player who walked out on his team feeling he was disrespected by not being offered a huge salalry (as well as being passed over by all other NBA teams) has tried to get back in the league again. Well, there's a reason you're not back in the NBA. You're a leper. You walked out on your team with a year left on your contract. You're a quitter. Go back to Europe.
What? He was a restricted free agent when he walked. I'm fairly certain that if he was under contract he wouldn't have been allowed to sign the European contract as they have some sort of agreement to prevent getting around contracts like that (like the Rubio situation). How does taking the best deal offered make him a quitter?
This is a pretty incomprehensible post to me. As a restricted free agent, he was scared that the Hawks would match any offer he may get, and he hates playing in ATL. So he goes to Greece. He comes back, finds out the same thing is happening, and goes back to Greece. I doubt he's a "leper" to anyone. If I'm wrong, I highly doubt it's b/c he "walked out on his team with a year left on his contract", since he actually didn't. His contract was up, he went to a place offering him a bunch of cash and no ability to have ATL match. I take it back--he may be a leper to Chris Wallace. He's like the anti-me.
