No offense to Mr. May, but it sounds like the same Shawn Kemp song and dance.

May certainly would be worth the risk as a back-up PF after Utah matches Millsap. Minimum deal and let him try and stay healthy. If he can stay healthy, he will produce on the offensive end.

Weight issues are never a good thing.. the guy's got talent, but once you go fat, it's hard to go back and stay there.

swish it around a bit, then spit it in a shaker glass with chipped ice and extremely cheap vodka. Follow your reingestion sips with a deep sniff on a glue bottle. Head bang the wall and repeat.

I could live with a healthy May signed to a minimum contract. He was never someone I particularly liked as a player, but he does have some talent. Given health, he could be fine for a deep bench guy.

May was very fat in college - there's no "back" to go. However, if he shows anything I'd be willing to give up vets min. and a spot for him. He was a very effective scorer in college even though he was fat.

4% body fat is impressive. He must be seriously strong.

Many NBA players have been fatties, and effective. See Duckworth. Kevin.

I'm not sure if this video is pre-micro surgery or not, but regardless he abused D.Howard back in 2006. I know, I know it's 09. I wouldn't be shocked if we sign him if we lose out on Millsap. He's got some excellent post moves, and a pretty decent rebounder. Condition issues is a correctable thing, the knees aren't, so if don't sign him it's the knees must be shot.

He'd only be called upon 5 minutes per half on most nights, so conditioning wouldn't even be much of an issue.

It's a bit ironic to me that we're pinning a lot of our "let it bake" hopes on Oden's improvement, weight loss and strength gain in his 2nd year after microfracture, but we're pooh-poohing (and throwing up in mouths) over a pre-prime lottery pick's ability to be a 10th man on our team b/c he's a "fattie". In his 2nd season after MF.

I don't get it either Brian. May has a ton of talent, and has showed it on an NBA level by averaging 17/10 per 36 minutes played.

He has been hurt, and out of shape, but for a back up he would be terrific. Assuming of course it is for little money. His injury concerns are legit I think.

No argument from me on that. If you said "he's had complications from MF", or "it's his 3rd knee surgery", or "he wants MLE", then no thank you.

Signing him to a Channing Frye-level (2/3.5M, but with team option in 2nd year) contract wouldn't be a bad thing, IMO. Then again, I wanted to sign Shaun Livingston last year. As a matter of fact, I still do. But Presti seems to read my posts. :)

I told you guys before, be careful with highlight videos. You can make Ha look like Dwight Howard if you know what you are doing!

    Gross! Does it taste good?

I know right? Why would he want to hold that in his mouth?

Anyhow, I wouldn't mind May on the team. If all else fails. But before Ben Wallace. I like May in college.
