C'mon Cohan sell the team! It's obvious you're the worst owner in the entire nba when it comes to regular season and post season appearances.
It could be a ploy just to up the offers that have been coming in. It's not like Cohan has leverage in these discussions because of the sad state of the Warriors and coming off losing Chris Mullin and Baron Davis in consecutive years. I think Ellison waits it out and steps in when Cohan is ready to sell. I just got my fingers crossed that it's this year. I'm leaning towards Tim K's speculation, too. He said in response to Rowell: "I think RR really meant to say: “The Warriors aren’t for sale… but psst, how much will you offer?” * But then again, Rowell might not know much. This is Cohan’s deal, not his. Bobby, you want any info, you’ve got my number, glad to fill you in! Nice.
The warriors are an embarrassment and they need a super rich, smart owner who wants to win and deliver a good product. I think he'd come in and hire the right ppl to run his organization.
I think the people who run his yacht can run the Warriors better than what we currently have. This statement is not a reflection of the coaching staff and its players.
I suppose Rowell is trying to say the team is not for sale. Yet the last quote kind of trumps a lot of those statements IMO. "Anything could or could not happen in the next two years." I suppose the economy may be a big determining factor withing the next two years to see if Cohan and company sell the team or not.
