    A lot of teams will regret passing on him. I know most Blazer fans wanted no part of him. But the guy can flat out play. He can shoot from everywhere, good size, great verticle leap, and good handles. If he was black he would have gone in the lottery.

    Chase could develop into a good role player, but his game will need a little more work. He's got a great touch, basketball IQ, and shooting ability to work with.

    I find it funny that a thread dedicated to Chase Budinger's "promising" career only surfaces after he throttles Portland's summer league team for 6/8 17pts, 1ast, 1stl, 1reb in just under 20 minutes. I'd like to bump this a year or two from now when he is riding the pine at the end of a bench for a dead-end franchise.

    I wish you would. Because I am close to being alone on this one and I just don't get it. I am not talking allstar here, but the guy will be one of those second round players that people regret passing on.

    I know what you were talking about. And I was going to leave it out. I have never gone to the race card before in my life. But I believe that there is a perception by white GM's and white fans, that many white players are soft and this dude with his socal beach boy appearance.........looks soft.
