Re: Lakers had made new offer of 36/4, 30/3 to LO.

Well he's the best available free agent and appears to be in limbo. There's been so many variations to the reporting it's hard to pinpoint WTF is going on behind the scenes. For all we know a deal could be 99% done and just some minor formalities are being worked out.

My source told me a deal would be done earlier this week. There was definitely something in place, but something changed over the past couple of days to prevent an actual signing.

The Lakers still hold all the cards.

Ramona says we have a good chance still.

So did Jeanie, Luke, Kobe apparently.

Good news, because like I've always said (and blogged) it is very important to keep your core guys together to be a legit contender. No Odom and no Ariza would have equaled no repeat.

Ramona says there's a 75-85 chance we get him back anyway so I wouldn't be surprised to see things are going a bit better.

Re: Rumor: Lamar to accept 4 year offer

From the posts I've read over there, no one questioned him. Seems like he has broken news before. Usually when someone posts something like that, they are questioned. I didn't see much questioning. Granted, I didn't browse the entire thread to look for people doubting him.

And HK, You've got Ramona's clit in your mouth ;]

    She says 75-85%. I guarantee 100% he'll be back.

Only thing to wait now is for Portland since the Jazz took away Millsap. I don't think he really wants to go there though.

    Re: Bucher PMSing again?

He didn't like our Artest move either.

Bucher says that 3/27 was the max offer. Doesn't think Lamar would realistically turn down a four year contract.

I've heard negotiations could easily continue, or are already from LA/Espn.

I don't think any Lakers' fans really expected Lamar to leave. He was trying to posture for a deal.

    Bucher is a douche.

    Anything he says is unreliable.

Anything he says involving the Lakers is horse shit.

    Re: Bucher PMSing again?

What does Bucher do if he's proven wrong again? His LA sources are terrible if Lamar is back.

Artest had pretty much agreed to come here and Ric thought he was still going to Cleveland. Literally a couple of minutes after he said that on ESPN News, the Artest story broke.

Re: Rumor: Lamar to accept 4 year offer

Portland fans are caught up in their hype. Since we can't beat them in Portland, they think they are close to being a dynasty or a serious championship contender. I'm willing to bet a shit load of money they don't make any serious noise in the next 5 years.

Oh, I can't wait for the shit storm this could cause with that board.

Outside of ESPN, does anybody take Bucher seriously?
