Brandon Jacobs continues to be awesome

Giants RB Brandon Jacobs is already building anticipation for the team's Week 2 matchup with the NFC East rival Cowboys.

He is taking aim at Dallas QB, Tony Romo.

"I'm not a fan of Tony Romo, no," Jacobs said in an appearance on ESPN Radio. "Keep him in the pocket, he's not that good."

Jacobs said that he doesn't "think (Romo's) that good a passer. The Cowboys QB completed 61.3% of his passes last year, which ranked 16th among all signal callers.

Romo is 4-0 in his career against the Giants in the regular season, though New York ousted Dallas from the playoffs in January 2008.

The Cowboys, who cut receiver Terrell Owens in March, have turned the reins of the franchise over to Romo. Team owner Jerry Jones said recently he thinks Romo is "a natural leader."

But Jacobs is not counting on that faith to last very long.

"His luck will be gone sooner or later," Jacobs told ESPN. "If you were to keep Tony Romo in the pocket he's not that effective."
