Finally watched Mania tonight on Comcast Sportsnet. Loved it. I so retardedly love this franchise it's almost embarrassing. Getting all choked up a couple times. What the hell? Of course I FULLY cried during Damon's recount of "Game 7" Haha...
I honestly don't think I'll ever be able to bring myself to watch it. Our history post 1977 is nothing but close calls and disappointment. Living through it one time has been enough. I'll wait for the future championship DVD

In a strage twist of fate... I did not see the 4th quarter of game 7. I had a softball game at delta park and I was watching in the concession area until right before the 4th quarter started. Everyone was watching the game and then we rushed out to the field to play... riding a high of course. We score like 19 runs the first inning and before it was over the next thing I heard was 'it's tied'. Tied? TIED??? WTF!!!! I don't want to see it. Best to leave that disaster in the closet.
the bigger disaster is playing a softball game over 4th quarter of game 7 of the WCF...man I would have taken the forfeit!
