    The only one that's really appealing to me is Diaw and maybe the Miami deal. I'd still rather just hold on to him.

    Fucking drama again. I hope this gets sorted out soon. I'd hate for Miami to have a Boozer-Odom-Wade core. Though I'm still sure, we're still better.

    So basically, after CA State taxes, Odom would be getting the full MLE over 4 years? Word is Miami is offering 5. So Odom would make the money a year sooner in LA, but he wants a 5 year contract.

    The more I read about this, the more I’m starting to doubt a 4/36 offer was made. Maybe even the 3/30. This is basically the only report out there that confirms these two offers were on the table. Everywhere else I’ve been reading, like ESPN, has stated that 3/27 was the highest contract we offered LO. They’ve also been stating that years are the biggest issue, and since LO wants 5, I highly doubt one year would make such a difference, and that he would actually walk away from 4/36 just to sign a 5 year MLE deal, which will pay him less money in the long run. Now I know ESPN is usually crap, but given that the 4/36 rumor has been out for so long, I doubt they would still be reporting 3/27, unless one of their sources told them it was false. I believe emplay has also refused to comment on 4/36, because he couldn’t get a source to confirm that it was in fact on the table. The more you think about it, the less sense it makes for them to walk away from that offer, if it was even made. LO’s agent, Jeff Schwartz, isn’t dumb either, he isn’t a David Lee. He represents a lot of athletes, including Paul Pierce, Jason Kidd, Tyson Chandler, Josh Howard, Kevin Love, and Al Jefferson. Agents get a certain percentage of a player’s contract, so it makes absolutely no sense for him to be contemplating a MLE offer, which would make him less money, unless these reports are false, which I’m beginning to think they are. 3/27 is still a fair offer, but I can see why LO would take a full MLE deal, it gives him more stability, which is apparently what he’s been looking for all along.
