This is a really odd statement.

Especially with Eduardo Najera in the league. He actually is from Mexico.

Here is a statistical comparison between Blake and Watson for their careers.

Neither come out looking very good really. Sadly, Blake looks a bit better in some cases.

So my long answer would be "Why bother bringing in another guy who sucks about as bad as our current loser?"

    Short answer: Nope.

I haven't gotten to watch much of him recently, but isn't he a lockdown defender? What exactly are his negatives?

We do need a 3rd PG, although we can't offer more than the minimum until we use our "cap space" while he'll probably be looking for more.

I would offer to sign him to the minimum with the understanding of being the 3rd stringer. I doubt he wants that though.

He was a pretty decent backup quality PG in years past, but I just checked his stats and he had - by far - the worst season of his career last year. He is only 29. Anybody know what is up?

I said Mexican Looking. Look at Watson, he looks straight outta Compton. Not being racist dont worry. I'm a half hispanic causin panic ;)
And I know Najera is from Mexica, but he is also as light as Joel most the time.

Heh. I was thinking the same thing. He looked like an All-Star at time when playing Portland. It used to frustrate the hell out of me.

That said, no to Watson. Why?
