Can someone name some examples of big trades in which a team with cap space was able to make a lopsided trade to another team to clear cap space? Not talking about consolidation or 3 for 1 or expiring contracts....I mean one that actually uses the huge amounts of cap space to make up a difference in salaries to make a "trade work"? Thank you, online people!
Recently was last year's trade of Marcus Camby for a second round pick. The pick had no "salary value"...all of Camby's salary was matched by the Clippers' cap space.
Too bad the Slippers don't have a single player Portland would want. Otherwise they might be willing to make such a trade with Portland.
First, trade Outlaw and picks for Conley (no real cap eater) Just a trade. Then, as far as lopsided trades go - send Batum and Bayless to Charlotte for G.Wallace and Felton. Conley, Blake, Felton Roy/Rudy G. Wallace/ Webs / Cunningham LMA/Pendergraph/ Help Oden/Pryz
