Care to clarify? If teams are making trades to save money, they won't be trading guys they believe are worth their contracts. They will try to dump guys they believe are overpaid. How does that not make sense???
I realize that this isn't the most popular opinion around, but I'll be happy to see Bayless get more time and Sergio get less (much less) than last year. Also, if Martell can come in and play the way he did during the first preseason game, we won't have to worry about spending money on another SF because of the skill set that he possesses. With his shot, rebounding skills, and boosted confidence he could end up being just what we need there. Factor in Oden's health and year of experience under his belt, and I think we'll have some great internal additions. Not only that, but we won't have to use our cap space until later on in the year. This summer is just a long time without NBA hoops that gives people fits if nothing is being done to improve the team through transactions. We have a lot of great young players and I don't doubt that we'll be in the thick of things come next season.
