Mauer, besides being one of the greatest hitters at catcher ever, he is very marketable, girls love the shit out of him, and he makes the twins terrible pitching talent mediocre. Every pitcher we've had with mauer has talked about how much he helps them
If you're looking at pitchers I don't see how you can pick anyone but Lincecum. Cain would be a pretty clear second in my mind, then I'd choose between Lester, Verlander, Kershaw and the rest of those guys. But Lincecum's head and shoulders above all of them.
lol makes sense. Yeah, I don't trust their staff in the playoffs. They should go out and get Halladay. But seems like their owner doesn't want to spend too much money and they're too protective of their prospects.
