I just hate Kershaw because he is a Dodger. God, I can't wait til they fail again this year.

Mauer, besides being one of the greatest hitters at catcher ever, he is very marketable, girls love the shit out of him, and he makes the twins terrible pitching talent mediocre. Every pitcher we've had with mauer has talked about how much he helps them

If you're looking at pitchers I don't see how you can pick anyone but Lincecum. Cain would be a pretty clear second in my mind, then I'd choose between Lester, Verlander, Kershaw and the rest of those guys.

But Lincecum's head and shoulders above all of them.

    lol makes sense.

Yeah, I don't trust their staff in the playoffs. They should go out and get Halladay. But seems like their owner doesn't want to spend too much money and they're too protective of their prospects.

Torre wants Halladay, though. I've got a feeling Halladay doesn't get dealt. The Jays want too much. They made an offer to the Mets today for their top 4 prospects, and the Mets turned it down.

I'm going to make a thread for the pitchers now.

I forgot about Hanley Ramirez too. Since he his under contract for the next like 6 years I think he should be up there.

Here are statistically the top 8 batters this year and their values:
Player- Current value in millions- current salary in millions
    Albert Pujols--$24.30-- 14
    Chase Utley--$22.30- 11.2
    Ben Zobrist-- $21.90-- .4
    Matt Kemp--$20.30--.46
    Hanley Ramirez--$18.70--5.5
    Prince Fielder--$18.00--7
    Joe Mauer--$17.80--10.5
    Evan Longoria-- $17.60--.55
