    First it was Franklin vs. Luiz Cane (woohoo!), then Franklin vs. Tito Ortiz (fart noise), now it's Franklin vs. Henderson 2 (um... what does disinterest sound like?).

    Franklin vs. Henderson 2 will headline UFC 103. I guess it will be at 195-lbs again.

    For the record, since moving up to light heavyweight, Franklin has fought Matt Hamill, then catchweight against Dan Henderson, then catchweight again against Wanderlei Silva, and now another catchweight fight.

    Does a fight like this benefit either fighters' career?

    The first fight between them was at 205, not 195.

    Are you fucking serious? WTF does this do for Dan? If he loses, he moves down, if he wins, he doesn't get shit.

    Fuck this fight. Seriously, fuck this stupid fucking fight. This has to be a fucking joke. If I was Dan, I'd be fucking pissed. The 1st fight wasn't even that close. Franklin hasn't shut up about it. Dan convincingly won the 1st two rounds.

    lame....so fucking lame. what happened to Dan's title shot? was it only if Bisping won would the winner of that match get a shot? seriously put Dan Henderson against Damian Maia or Nate Marquardt if he needs another match before a title shot. This match is sooo pointless, honestly I wasn't even that interested in the first match and now they're giving us #2?

    If Dan loses, I'll be pissed and I'm sure he'd be pissed too because it'll set him back.

    This is just a scramble match that has a negative effect on both fighters. Dan has already beat Franklin, pretty convincingly IMO, in January. Why the hell does he have to fight him again. There are plenty of other interesting options for Franklin @ 103. Did we ever get a reason on why Cane isn't fighting him?

    Fuck man, I'd rather see Wandy/Hendo III than Franklin/Hendo II.

    Is there any legit reason why Hendo doesn't get a shot @ Silva?

    One more thing before I end my rant, Dana just conceded to Floyd Mayweather. The UFC is going to get fucked in their PPV buys because nobody is calling for a Hendo/Ace rematch. Mayweather/ JMM >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Hendo/Ace II

    Actually fuck that, I'm not done. I was just reading Sherdog and they have some good ideas over there....like Franklin/Vera for 103!

    Hamill pulled out of 102, so pull Vera out and put him against Ace for 103.

    To be completely honest, Franklin shouldn't even have a fight that soon. A lot of the top 205ers are tied up for the next few months. Thiago Silva, Jardine are at 102, Griffin at 101, Rashad and Rampage are on TUF, Vera is at 102...etc, etc.
    This seems like a fight that was rushed, maybe Franklin put some pressure on the UFC to give him a fight. Maybe they shoulda given him Liddell(PULL HIM OUTTA RETIREMENT, i don't care). Or if Franklin didn't want Luis Cane, they coulda given him Steve Cantwell. Cantwell put up a hell of a fight against Cane.

    Liddell is retired until Spring 2010, so he says. He wants time for his brain to recover. I think Rich would methodically pick him apart. I wanted to see that matchup and it was rumored for 103, but Liddell said no.

    Some dude over @ shitdog brought up a good point. Franklin was just in Vegas meeting with Dana and Fertitta brothers about signing a contract extension. I wonder if he asked for a rematch if he signed it.

    Franklin supposedly was one of the last to know about this fight. He said he was woken up by a text message and when he checked his inbox he had about 50 messages saying the fight was official. He claims his team was one of the last peoples to know.

    I don't buy that shit. I believe he asked for that as a favor for being loyal to the UFC, being one of their most popular fighters, and for signing a 6 fight contract extension with them. He has been running his mouth about being robbed since the first fight and I'm sure he wanted a rematch. I don't see Dan knocking him out, I don't see Rich knocking Dan out. I'll go with Dan via decision, again. Hopefully he can land some shots and pound him out for a KO win, but I don't see it.

    Also, Franklin's defending Dan's position at 185 saying a loss to him shouldn't hurt Dan's chances at 185 and at a rematch with Silva because this will be at 205. Yeah right. If Dan loses this fight, I guarantee he doesn't get another crack at Silva.

    If Dan wins this, there is no way he doesn't get a title shot. After losing to Silva, he would have beaten: "Paul Harris", Franklin x2, Bisping. Come on, Dana.

    There is a chance this fight isn't happening. Since the MMA world collectively moaned when the fight was announced, Dana has had second thoughts. A change might be made.

    Tito probably won't be ready to go for UFC 103 but it's a possibility.

    The weight class issue between Franklin/Henderson might be another problem.

    Please please please cancel it, Dana. This fight is a fucking joke for Hendo. He's already beat the guy, there is no need for him to fight Franklin. Either give Hendo someone at 205 to move him up that latter, or give him Anderson Silva. The fans, at least the majority of them, want it.

    I'm pretty sure it is canceled. It isn't listed @ UFC.

    Shitdog has rumors of Hendo/Tito or Hendo/Belfort?

    Eh, to both. Give Hendo the winner of Forrest/Silva! Forrest wins? Give him Forrest at 205. Silva wins? Give him Silva @ 185. Let Franklin headline 103.

    I heard Belfort is all but a part of the UFC now and that at UFC 103 it will be Hendo vs. Belfort, winner gets title fight with Silva, and Tito vs. Franklin or someone at 205.

    Per Franklin's Twitter account, he doesn't know if the fight has been canceled--he assumes it's still on.

    I don't think Franklin-Vera would be a a better main event than Franklin-Hendo.

    Anyway, I do want to see Hendo-Anderson 2, but also Okami, and the winner of Marquardt-Maia all deserve one as well. However if Hendo loses to Franklin he'd probably have to win another 2 solid fights to get a title shot.

    Maybe Franklin-Wandy 2 or Franklin-Tito (if he gets signed) should happen instead (although back 2 back?) So Hendo can get his title shot? (but that depends on if Anderson gets injured)

    But who should get the next title shot?
    Hendo?
    Okami?
    Winner of Marquardt-Maia?
