Unless Derozan's summer league stroke is for real I think we're going to be missing some mid range shooting. We're not going to get a cheap big man that can do much. Not in this league.

well we can definitely trim the fat at the PG spot, Roko can probably draw some interest from a few teams. its a shame we have nothing to attractive to offer so we can pawn Banks off on someone else.
^pg rotation of calderon,jack,ukic,douby,and banks.. logjam at that 1.. BC need to do something about that.. granted some of these guards can log some minutes at the 2.. BC still need to get creative and ship marcus "garbage" banks..
BC should waive Banks and Douby won't make the team now anyway. Calderon - Jack is our 1-2 and Ukic will get some time probably near the end of games of right before half.
Don't really see the trade value in Roko Ukic. He's got potential and a decent pedigree, but his game still has some glaring holes. Right now he's a 3rd string PG on a good team, and his ceiling is still a question mark (a good backup? a starting PG?). I'd be happy to flip him for a second rounder. We can also use that roster space to re-sign Mensah-Bonsu.
doug smith is reporting this morning that we need to get rid of roko or another current roster player to sign pops. i honestly dont know why there isnt more of an urgency to sign pops. maybe the dude irked management?
You could be right. Colangelo mentioned that he'd like to be done re-making the roster in about a week to 10 days. With all he's got to do with Delfino and Rasho, it seems like he doesn't have much time to deal with Pops. Or maybe he waits until Roko's dealt to bring him in. I dunno.
I'd be happy to just trade Banks for a pick, money or just future considerations. Hell, BC call Memphis.
LOL, I have faith in BC but I know for a fact that he hates fan favs seriously look the roster anyone that becomes a favorite in Toronto is traded within a season list goes like this: Charlie V, Pope Sow, Garbojosa, and soon pops All were fan favs and BC got rid of them. As far as Delfino and Rasho goes, I dont see Delfino coming back anymore theres no news except that raps offered him something in june sometime (see Wikipedia). Rasho will be back because he doesnt play for funny or championship or anything he just likes to play basketball lol
