I didn't see any thread about this, so don't murder me. But this is the first that I have seen public that we are open to trading Bayless. I was always under the impression that we loved the guy and he was untouchable.

My questions are, is this real and what is Bayless worth on the market?

I wouldn't assume he is worth much, but his potential has to be worth something right? Would you guys trade him just yet?

KP has stated repeatedly, in many ways, his love for Bayless. Bayless however is not and has never been 'untouchable.' If we are to upgrade the position, I think Bayless has to at least be on the table, along with Blake and Travis and even our supposed sharp-shooter Martell.

I have no idea what Bayless' market value is. He hasn't shown much, so I doubt it's much. I wouldn't mind finding out.

What do you think he is worth on the market? Could we even get a 1st round pick for him?

I doub we are trading him if we aren't getting a young PG (Sessions). Trading him just because we'd be getting Miller would be really short-sighted.

Do you think Phila would do something like a S&T for Bayless, Outlaw and Blake for Miller and Jrue Holiday?

During my life I have seen Shaq and Kareem Abduul Jabaar traded. There is no player that is untouchable.

I think we'd easily egt a 1st round pick for him, and I am certain KP would not do that. Why? You can do that next season, at the draft, and get potentially soem playing time out of him this season. No sense at all to move him just for a pick. His value is higher than that, IMO. Just because he didn't lighht the world on fire in his first season doesn't mean he automatically has no value.

Mark Warkentein running his mouth again? Dude has a serious hard on for KP. Maybe this is why KP can't get anything done. Some rival piece of shit GM is always running his mouth to Aldridge, Bucher and other hacks that will tweet anything. We know how teams like secrecy.

Until he shows something for a season, that's probably just what he is worth -- he is worth "potential."

Those are some big names that have been traded . . . but we are talking Bayless here, I say untouchable.

Well considering you have no idea what we would be getting in return, I sure hope he considers this decision more than you considered your post.

KP seems to overvalue his players. While Bayless my very well be available, I doubt it would be for Sessions.

On a side note. I can't belive the love this organization has for Blake. The guy is nothing more than a spot up shooter.

On another side note. If Bayless goes and another young guard doesn't come back then phooey on KP.

I second that emotion. That way we still have our precious Blake to make Nate feel comfortable and to hit threes at a respectable clip, but we also have a young player who really CAN be a PG instead of a young Bayless who is being forced to change everything that made him an attractive prospect to begin with. And it makes sense for the Bucks: they have Ridnour for now, Jennings (who looked great in Summer League - he reminds me of a young Nick Van Exel, both in quicks and attitude, but with more hops) for later at the point, and can actually use Bayless as a scorer. Plus they get two young players cheap and stay below luxury tax territory without having to give up Sessions for nothing. Win/win!

If, by offering Bayless up as a part of a package with Outlaw or Webster, KP could secure a quality SF and then sign Miller or another decent veteran PG, I think you'd have to say it would be a good move. Blake makes more sense as a backup than Bayless simply because he's more experienced. Sign Jeter as a third string PG and the Blazers would be in good shape.
