Big Ben (raps can sign him for cheap as his gtn shit load of money from the suns)
Chris Mihm (another player raps cud sign for cheap)
    Fabricio Oberto
    And ofcourse Rasho/or Primo
These are some decent Big Ben that will help out raps if either bosh or bargs go down with an injury.
Had raps not signed JJack they couldev now looked at Tinsley, Carlos A, Ramon Sessions

isn't big ben a little small for you guys? I mean you have bosh and bargnani. And aren't they more of a 3/4 combo or an athletic/bad defensive 4/5 combo? I would go for mihm if he can still play or rasho again. Rasho is a solid workhorse. I didn't hate him on the wolves and he has gotten a lot better since then.

I agree that big ben would be nice insurance if there is an injury, don't you guys still have pops on your roster though? he seems like a big ben clone to me, just without the experience and old age.

Can we afford to round our big man depth with two non-existent offensive players? Wallace's shotblocking, rebounding, and defense would be valuable, but it'd make it so that the Raptors could never rest Bargnani and Bosh at the same time.

Plus, I doubt he re-signs anywhere. Seems like the dude's ready to retire.

please promise u want start a thread ever again. mihm hasnt been a nba quality player since he got injured a few years ago; oberto isnt a bad signing but im sure he could garner more money overseas; rasho is a colangelo man, no secret there; primo=please no.

dude relax primo was a joke, and Mihm hasnt got a fair shot he had competition with DJ Mbenga or w.e his name is and Bynum u think he could compete with those? and Orberto and Rasho play very similarly

If he warrants our attention, he should be able to beat out DJ Mbenga for a roster spot.

Rasho's defense is better than Oberto's IMO (minus the pick and roll). I wouldn't mind either, to be honest.

Looking at that list there are a few bigs that I like,

    Leon Powe (if healthy)
    Mikki Moore
    Hakim Warrick
    Theo Ratliff
    Ike Diogu

Also I didn't know Luther Head and Ime Udoku were UFAs. If only we had the capspace I wouldn't mind them, maybe not so much head since we already have Douby.

ratliff got signed today by the spurs. moore is done; powe is intriguing if healthy as u mentioned; warrick will be matched if memphis has any sense and diogu is certainly attainable

Kwame Brown anyone? Offensive liability but dude can defend and rebound.

Edit: hmm it seems his second year is a player option so I don't think hes actually a free agent, but NBA.com has him listed.

Mikki Moore of 4 years ago sure if u can bring that player back, Powe not a good option, hakin would be too sick but theres more upside to POPS! theo is in spurs, and Ike is a good option but despite the reports IMO pops is by far the best option!

joe smith is by far the best option. if he was brought in as the fourth big, he might be the best fourth big on any team in the league

Ime Udoka would be a good option if the Delfino negotiations fall through, IMO.

yeah i think mike brown's unrelenting loyalty to big Z had to with that. he played Z way too much in spite of getting killed by D howard. when he played for the thunder he was much more effective earlier in the season.
