Lol apparently Barnes was getting interest from the Cavs, Magic, and Mavs. Does Ferry think Moon is better? They're similar players but I'd say Barnes is distinctly better.

Why do they keep targeting our garbage? (well AP isn't garbage, but Joey and Jamario are a waste of time).

The third year (as with many of Ferry's contracts) is not fully guaranteed. Essentially I think the deal is for 3 years (last not fully guaranteed) starting at the rest of the MLE not used on Anthony Parker. This clearly addresses a need for a tall guy with a big wingspan to guard long forwards, notably Rashard Lewis and Lamar Odom. Don't get me wrong, Moon is not gonna shut them down, but my feeling is that he should be a decent piece for us, especially as he could be used as part of an explosive, change of pace lineup as well. If you have Mo, LeBron and Moon out on the break, that can be explosive. It's a nice pickup, and my feeling is that it's just about justified by the price, given the value he should provide to the Cavs.
