    from his twitter

"I love all the doubt and negativity...feeding it all to the motivational flames. Keep it coming!"

and then he goes on to say he's thinking like he has two brains. LOL that would be a first.

To think he doesn't know what all the Portland fans are saying about him, sadface.

But two brains? I didn't know he had one....

What are they saying besides the truth? I have still yet to see outlaw make one really good pass. I dare anyone to find a highlight of one.

...I could see how it would take him 2 brains just to watch/comprehend those old school cartoons :dunno:

oh please, always with the silly hyperbole. I can recall several nice passes last year including a couple of nice quick touch passes. No one is going to waste their summer afternoon wading through a season's worth of tape to find one of those few nuggets because some anonymous ALLCAPS internet guy dared them to. No one thinks he's Magic Johnson but he's a pro basketball player playing 25+ minutes so he has a moment every now and then

Indeed. Fortunately the two of us have second brains to communicate on Outlaw's level, PapaG.

I'd be very confused without my second brain, though. ;)

    Travis working out twice/day?

I thought he was notorious for taking summers off and coming to camp out of shape?

    Good for him.

I never understood how the guy could be out of shape. He's a regular at many spots in Tualatin, and he's a string bean with what looks like no body fat.

I think it's more about the asthma than anything, since fall is peak time in Oregon for asthma.

Yeah - I don't think "out of shape" for Outlaw meant he came in overweight. I just remember hearing he was sucking wind in preseason games and when somebody asked him about it he said "that's what preseason is for" (or something to that effect)

I know a few players that are drafted out of High school do not always have the highest basketball IQ. The fact that he is from Mississippi where they all talk a little slow makes him sound uneducated. But I got to tell you from reading the all the message boards and listening to the radio shows that openly talk about him being stupid.......kind of pisses me off. Especially when it often comes from a bunch of morons. Oh the irony.

I am not talking about you guys or this thread, just fans in general. I find it extremely classless and I am embarrassed of Blazer fans every time I hear it because I know it gets back to Travis. We as fans really have no idea how smart or dumb a player is. But if you want to alienate players like Brandon or LMA, keep it up. Just my opinion

I guess you would need a 3rd brain like me to comprehend things like the joke I said and the Joel for Battier trade. So is it true that each additional brain actually makes your processing slower?

I think Outlaw was talking about the "little head" and the "big head" ...

I have to say I'm feeling a lot better about the coming season knowing that Outlaw won't be our second best player at creating his own shot ... as the third best shot creator (albeit only for himself) he might be a much better fit in that role.
