I would think cause Outlaw and Webster and Blake could have net us a better PG than just Blake alone.
he got "injured" in the first game against Austria, probably just a tweaked ankle but there's no point in him playing in warmup games.
What's the French team look like as a whole as far as NBAers? Tony Parker, Nicolas Batum, Boris Diaw, Mikael Pietrus, and Joakim Noah is what I have down right now. Any other NBAers I missed? Gelebale maybe? They have a pretty good team. Probably will be the team to qualify. Hopefully ESPN360 has the European Championship streaming online. It will be fun to watch. The amount of NBA talent playing for teams in the European Championship will be exciting. Just off the top of my head, you have Chris Kaman and Dirk Nowitzki for Germany, Andrei Kirileinko, Sergey Monya, and Viktor Khryapa for Russia, Ben Gordon, Pops Mensah Bonsu and maybe Kelenna Azuibuke and Luol Deng for Great Britain, Pau Gasol, Ricky Rubio, Marc Gasol, and Jose Calderon for Spain. Tony Parker, Joakim Noah, Nicolas Batum, Mikael Pietrus, and Boris Diaw for France if they qualify. Andris Biedrins for Latvia. Lots of good talent there.
This was a three game warmup tournament, so no TV or streams. I'm sure there will be streams once France starts their qualifiers (August 5th against Italy) and definitely for the actual Eurobasket tournament. he starts. Keep in mind that, thanks to the Bulls, Noah's participation with the French team is finished.
I think Mikael Pietrus isn't on the team (and hasn't been for some years or maybe forever), only his older brother Florent.
Boxscore: I like how it shows not just the fouls committed, but the fouls drawn (Batum 5, Noah 6) and not just the blocks, but the shots of yours that get blocked.
They want him to stop playing after the exhibition games. I don't think Noah will agree to that, and will continue to play for France into the qualifiers, and into the Eurobasket if he qualifies. They want him to come back to Chicago to lift weights for the summer. Noah isn't the type to quit on his teammates, so I can't see him just quitting on the French team. It also will look dumb for the Bulls for holding out Joakim Noah for France and Luol Deng for Great Britain, when they let Derrick Rose play for Team USA next year for the World Championships if he makes the team. The Bulls can't force Noah out of playing. They can strongly recommend it, but if he wants to play, he will play.
AFAIK, Chicago is only letting Noah play in the warmup games, not the real Eurobasket tournament (or qualifiers).
Nic just has that feeling about him - you can just tell that with time he is going to be something special.
You don't mean that. You're just trying to be controversial. Batum is young and sleek and handsome...everyone loves Batum. He's sexy. Plus he seems to have basketball talent.
