    I'm torn. In my opinion The Eagles are the more talented band, musically. While C.C.R. is probably more influential. I also like some Eagles songs more individually i.e. Hotel California, Desperado, Take It Easy. Plus I love Joe Walsh, I'm going with The Eagles.

    I like both bands to some extent, but I'd put CCR on a significantly higher levels. Eagles are a bit too MOR...Credence was more unique and catchier.

    Really good question. Hotel California is the only song by The Eagles that I listen to frequently so I'd have to say CCR.

    i would have guessed that the eagles would win this by a landslide, interesting to see it going the oppostie direction. i still think that the eagles are the more respected band and would be viewed higher up the totem pole by most of the public.

    saying that, i enjoy ccr much more than the eagles.
