Theoretically by this reasoning does that mean you should either change your handle or not visit the board until the season opener? Otherwise you would be mentioning his name about five times a day, give or take.
Unfortunately, Lopez got the better of Oden in that scrimmage. The hype machine on GO was a bit overstated. Watch the video on blazers.com. He looks about the same to me. I'm hoping he can get his old self back, but he didn't look nearly as fluid and motivated as the bill of goods I was sold. Here's hoping ...
It's funny coming from your screenname, especially given how much attention you seem to try to draw to yourself when things don't go well.
I thought exactly the same when I saw this picture at OLive but it was very small and unclickable. I was so intrigued I literally had to move my eyes to about 2 inches from the screen! Thanks, ABM.
Lopez shot the ball well, but that's all he did... he was 7-8 from the field but only had 4 rebounds. Oden got 10 boards to go with his 7 points. I don't know that it's fair to say that Lopez got the better of Oden given Greg's limited number of touches offensively. Ed O.
I'd also say we don't really know who Lopez scored those points on so it's hard to say if Lopez got the better of Greg. Casey said that Greg and most of the white unit starters were sitting out most of the third quarter so it is quite possible that Lopez got a good number of his points during that time.
Lopez was also shooting from the perimeter, from reports. Maybe Oden should have been closing out better but, honestly, I'm not all that concerned about his defense on centers who drift to the perimeter. I'd like him to defend them anywhere, of course, but it's way down on the list of importance.
Believe me Oden in the right system could do serious damage. Thank god for andre miller! No more blake launching 3's! Nate better go with the flow!!! Now don;t mention God again.
