really? so far this offseason we have lost telfair, smith, thomas, and madsen and 4 freaking picks for q rich, chucky atkins, and damien wilkens????? Kahn is retarded, Smith> any of those players, telfair> all of them, Thomas probably better than all of them. and we lost 4 picks? It is starting to seem like kahn if just making moves to appear like he is doing something. cripes!
Lots of expirings to work with, not to mention that Atkins' contract is only guaranteed 760 thousand of the 3 mil. This was solely to clear some cap space, which we did. Not to mention all the expirings we have. I think it's set to make a big, big deal including those contract, Flynn and picks if/when Rubio comes over.
great, so we are loading up on expirings for who? Who are we possibly going to trade for? We need to take on big contracts back with all these expirings. So kahn is clearing cap space with all our talent to hopefully get some talent back? If this somehow works out i'll be amazed, but still pretty upset that i have to pretend to root for one of the worst teams ever assembled talent wise. We have jefferson who is awesome, love who is awesome, flynn who i do not like, brewer who is a big iffy, and one solid role player in gomes. we have no talent anymore, this is a rough offseason to say the least
Why don't you like Flynn? But yeah, the Wolves have been confusing the hell out of me lately. Taking Rubio AND Flynn in the draft. The trades recently haven't made any sense. Telfair and Smith are solid, young players, and relatively cheap as well. I have no idea why you guys decided to trade them away. Confuses the hell out of me...
I fucking love Flynn, but I know our GM has said he wants to make Rubio 'the guy' with Big Al when he comes over, so I don't see room for Flynn, and I do expect him to be dealt for a good shooting guard. The deal for Craig and Bassy makes sense in that it's a move in order to make another move. Quentin Richardson has an expiring, and a much bigger one. It's much easier to deal one expiring over two if you're trying to make a big sort of deal, which is what I expect to happen. And Craig is overrated as hell.
I don't like flynn because he forces shots, makes plenty of turnovers, and was only drafted in the lottery because he had that amazing 6 OT game. He is very short, can't play a lick of defense and his shot is soooooo inconsistent. I think best case scenario he becomes stevie franchise, not exactly something to be really excited for. I will admit that he has shown a few flashes that could prove me wrong. I'm just not a fan of undersized pg's that can't defend and force shots. He looks like telfair 2.0 for me as a rookie. But since kahn decided to traded telfair for shit, we need to use the 6th freaking pick in the draft to replace him.
