Lets hope Anelka is speaking the truth--He rarely does!

I'm sure Ferguson will come up with something smart to make up for the loss of Cristiano Ronaldo. Tevez won't be as big of a blow as I think people are making it out to be. What I would be worried about is the 80 million received for the Ronaldo sale, and there has not been a significant re-investment since. That would worry me because of those debt rumors that have been circling about the club since Glazer bought it.

Smart comment but maybe not smart he said it.

I wonder if he thinks Chelsea having yet another new manager (the worst yet) will hurt them.

If we can keep hold of Xabi, we have to be favourites.

I'd have Liverpool up for favourites right now.

I don't think anyone is a favorite to be honest. Drogba really seems to be back from his injury/manager issues. Those two goals this summer were just nasty. Chelsea still needs to improve their midfield, but with essien healthy and hopefully mikel obi making some bigger strides they will be just as good as the end of the year last year, add yuri to that and they are solid. Liverpool will be really solid again if they keep xabi, and man U is always pretty good. I think arsenal is the 4th for sure right now, and you never know about man city, they look good on paper, maybe they'll put it together this year.
