I doubt we'd have a chance to sign Warrick either way. We just don't have enough MLE left and teams will bid for him. But it's crazy how much Memphis sucks at everything basketball-related.
Rasho or Ratliff were realistically the best possibly signings of the 8 or so guys mentinoned. There wouldn't be much point signing a PF, because Bosh plays 40 mpg, and no one wants to see him at center and being extra horrible defensively and getting beat up. Guys like Warrick, Joe Smith wouldn't be more useful at center than Rasho or Ratliff. Rasho and Ratliff aren't the answer or anything, but at 2 million Rasho is a good price, and eventually maybe we'll get some player who can score down low. Bargnani, Bosh and Hedo, all have weak post up games.
