    Clearly they didn't think the Halladay deal was worth it, this is still a very good deal.

    I agree. Toronto wants to raid a teams farm system for Halladay and that's not going to happen.

    Lee is still under contract for next season at a reasonable $8M. Philly improves significantly with this trade and have a 1-2 punch now with Lee & Hammels for the post season.

    The big loser though is LA. The Dodgers needed an ace like Lee for themselves and to prevent him from going to their biggest threat. They will need to counter this move.
