Kobe Bryant is averaging 36.7 PPG against the Warriors this season. The Lakers are grabbing 49.7 rebounds a game against the Warriors, who are pulling down only 42.7 against Los Angeles. Lamar Odom is averaging only 6 PPG, but Smush Parker is unloading in Oakland, scoring 15.3 PPG on 17-26 shooting (an amazing 65.4% from the field). Oh, and I forgot to mention...the Lakers are 3-0 against the Warriors this year.Golden State has fallen completely off the playoff map, losing eight consecutive games and falling in 18 of their last 24 games. Ugly is the only word to describe that losing streak, but most are starting to believe that the Warriors have bigger fish to fry...in the 2006 Draft. Nevertheless, it looks as if the Warriors may be without both Baron Davis and Jason Richardson, so look for this game to be nasty.Just for everyone's entertainment, the Lakers are sitting 8th seed, behind the Kings (even though the records are identical). Sacramento plays Phoenix, Denver, New Orleans and Seattle to close out the season. Not so pretty, says the Laker fans, who are looking at meetings against Golden State, Portland, Phoenix and New Orleans. If the Lakers can steal a win from the Suns and go 4-0 to reach 45 wins, the Kings will have to somehow pull away to beat two division champs and a surprising Sonics team. It looks like we'll be grabbing that 7th seed after all.PredictionIf it smells like a blowout, looks like a blowout, and tastes like a blowout...then, well...it's a blowout. Fisher will do well, receive some cheers from the crowd, but I'm not so sure about everyone else. Lakers win by 15+ against the struggling, short-handed Warriors.
Yeah it sounds like a blowout to me, Lamar will be quiet and Kobe will get around 40 as usual... I think the Lakers will end this season with a 5 game winning streak and put up a good fight against Phoenix or San Antonio. If we get the 6th seed which is highly unlikely we'll beat Denver in 6 games... that's my prediction.
I say if we're up by 10+ in the 3rd I sit Kobe. Even though it's not like he needs rest for the playoffs.. dude's a machine. It seems like we've played GS like 10 time this year
...and won every one of those.yeah blow out for sure, GS is on a big losing skid... and the Lakers wont be the team to revive the W for them
Kobe has 30, Kwame owning the boards and lakers winning. Hell yessKobe had a 360, first one in like ages
My heart skipped two beats when Kobe was nailed and fell hard on that drive. I was counting how many seconds he was going to stay down.
