http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_a...powe_intrigued_by_cavs_magic_mavs_and_lakers/ I'd take a flyer on him for cheap, but even if he returns back to health, there's no spot in the rotation for him. Shape would be happy though.
No more rotation minutes, but I'd love to have him though. He has what it takes to be a great role player.
He is faster, more athletic and actually has enough speed to slash to the rim. Though, if he doesn't come for the Vets Minimum, then nevermind.
Does he really ever slash though? From what I remember during last year's playoff run, 95% of the time he's active on the boards and can shoot the 12-15 footer, the same exact things JP does. Whatev, though, not a bad guy to stock for the vet's min...
As far as I can remember, he slashes. Though, I don't really remember a whole lot of that horrible series. Most memorable thing from Powe in that series was when he went coast to coast on our entire team. >_<
I'd love Powe in the P&G. He'd be another physical player in the paint for us and has always been able to draw fouls in bunches.
Way too many knee injuries. He killed us in the Finals, though. You think he'll be a good player after this most recent injury, Shape?
He never relied on being a leaper so I think he could still produce after his latest knee injury. Appears he's going to sign with Cleveland though.
