There was debate early on in the season. Vladdy's benching for Luke early on in the year drew the ire of many Laker fans. But as time went on, Luke's play improved. He played well during the second half of the season, and sort of emerged as the glue guy on the bench. He stepped up in the postseason as well.

So with that in mind, if you look back on things, who would you rather have on this team? Both players have their pluses and minuses.

    I'm gonna go with Luke.

I questioned Phil early on, but it seems like he knew what he was doing. Vlad can shoot the ball, but he doesn't provide us with much else. On a team with so many weapons, it's nice to have someone like Luke come off the bench and set up other guys to score. He won me over with his play in the postseason, Finals especially. He does something neither Trevor or Vladdy could do, which is recognize mis-matches and take advantage of them. His defense was miraculously decent as well.

    Luke FTW.

Though Vlad was our best pure shooter, Walton is our best playmaker off the bench. I'm taking Walton because he doesn't cause chemistry problems but actually helps improve it. His bball IQ is pretty high too IMO. I just wish he would work more on hitting open shots.

Haha, I was publicly mocked for supporting Luke over VladRad by that Mamba guy and Lost One when I used to post as yodawgsup (now banned for some reason). Times sure change around here though.

Haha! That was probably before Luke showed up and produced in the Playoffs.

If Radman is making his 3 pointers I'd keep him in the game, but if he's off Luke was a better option.
