If you were to select 5 active players to go into the Hall Of Fame right now,who would they be and why?

first off, Shaquille O'neal. Then I'd say Tim Duncan. Next, Gary Payton. Also, of course Kobe. Finally, I'm stuck between AI and Kidd.

Good Topic. I say.JkiddTim DuncanKobeShaqGary PaytonAll of those guys have been either very good players or really succesful. All of those guys should be ballots.KG will probably get in too. He has done alot and he is an MVP winner. He is so versatile and so strong on the boards and he plays D and hes got a nice shooting touch. If Nash can stay succesful for a few more seasons he will get in (Canadian Pride [IMG]). God come on, Stevie. Do it for Canada. But those are the obvious guys that will get in.

I don't think KG has done or proved nearly enough to be in the hall, and for the record neither has guys like Dirk, Marion, or Arenas. But LameR is right, in about 4-7 years some or most of these guys will have had enough done in their careers to get in.I just had to say that KG doesn't deserve the HOF yet...if he is in than so are guys like Marion and Dirk(who I think has done more than KG has with comparable numbers).Just my thoughts.
