If you were to select 5 active players to go into the Hall Of Fame right now,who would they be and why?
Kobe Bryant-3 rings, scoring title this year.Allen Iverson- MVP, numerous scoring titles, finals appearance.Shaquille O'Neal- numerous MVPs, numerous Finals MVPs, one of the most dominant players ever.Tim Duncan- 2 MVPs, numerous finals MVPs, one of the greatest winners ever.<strike>Steve Nash</strike>Ben Wallace- 3 DPOYs. Classic hard worker story. definition of blue collar player.
first off, Shaquille O'neal. Then I'd say Tim Duncan. Next, Gary Payton. Also, of course Kobe. Finally, I'm stuck between AI and Kidd.
Ative PlayersShaq- One of the greatest centers of all time. Very high on the all time scoring list among active players. 13 time all-star. And 3 ringsGary Payton- One of the greatests lock dow guards of all time and also pretty high in scoring among active players. 9 time all-star.Tim Duncan- Arguably the greates power forward ever. Very fundamental. Led 3 Spurs teams to championships in 7 years. 8 time all-starKobe Bryant- Co-lead the Lakers to 3 championships with the help of Shaq. 8 time all-star. One of the greates scorers ever.Allen Iverson-Another one of the greatest scorers ever. Lead a mediocre Sixers team to the Finals in 2001. AIShaqKobeKiddPaytonOthers I considereduncan (although I'm not a big fan, he'll make it),KGCamby and Mourning a littleArtest/Kirilenko/Bowen (for just being so good at what they do)Ray AllenPierce, Marion, Dirk, Arenas in about 4-7 years
Good Topic. I say.JkiddTim DuncanKobeShaqGary PaytonAll of those guys have been either very good players or really succesful. All of those guys should be ballots.KG will probably get in too. He has done alot and he is an MVP winner. He is so versatile and so strong on the boards and he plays D and hes got a nice shooting touch. If Nash can stay succesful for a few more seasons he will get in (Canadian Pride ). God come on, Stevie. Do it for Canada. But those are the obvious guys that will get in.
KobeShaqAIKGTimmy Dall great players... if they don't go in the NBA HOF would be incomplete. theres more, but the topic is 5

I don't think KG has done or proved nearly enough to be in the hall, and for the record neither has guys like Dirk, Marion, or Arenas. But LameR is right, in about 4-7 years some or most of these guys will have had enough done in their careers to get in.I just had to say that KG doesn't deserve the HOF yet...if he is in than so are guys like Marion and Dirk(who I think has done more than KG has with comparable numbers).Just my thoughts.
