Ughh. He's going to be so overpaid. And we haven't even seen him play a full season without Plax yet. The really annoying thing is that I became resigned to this eventuality about a year ago. Salaries are just spiralling out of control right now, especially for QB's/LT's/DL's/lottery rookies. Once Roethlisberger got his deal, I knew Eli's would surpass him. The Giants are stuck in this situation. Either they overpay him now, or get forced into a ridiculous bidding war when he becomes a FA in a potentially uncapped offseason.
