Probably, but do you think he'll win it. I say it's close between him and Kobe... it's hard to tell. whatre your thoughts on the MVP outcome?7

of course u agree you a Nash fan. Everybody knows this years award should go to Kobe and Im not just saying that because he's my favorite player. I'm saying it because he earned it.

Kobe is not the MVP. He never was either. Team players get the MVP.

It's called the Most Valuable Player award not the Most Valubale Team Player award.Yes they look into how the player helps the team but the fact is there not going to pass up on Kobe just because he doesn't average 10 assist a game like Nash does.

Look at how many possessions per game they have. Nash Kobe and probably Nowitszki are the top 3 candidates. I think of it as where would your team be without you and the Lakers would be an 8 or 9 win team. Lebron's team would survive which I why I don't believe Lebron deserves it.

He doesn't get a lot of assist, he takes the most shots I've ever seen anyone take, (that includes Jordan), and he shoots a low percentage. If he shot like 48% or higher I would be impressed but he doesn't. That is enough to say he isn't the MVP imo. Nash isn't either though.

I don't understand why there are like 100 topics discussing the MVP award on this board...

The sad thing is that the whole discussion will probably get even more heated when they announce the winner.

If he shot like 48% or higher I would be impressed but he doesn't. That is enough to say he isn't the MVP imo. Nash isn't either though.</div>I'm going to have to respectfully disagree.-An assist requires that his teammate make the shot. Which means Kwame would have to catch his passes, and Smush and Lamar would have to make their wide open shots. Kobe has really been trying to get the team involved this year but it's quite hard when your 2nd option is Brian Cook. And Kobe isn't even the distributor, he's the wing attacker.-He takes so many shots because his team is too scared to, they always just pass it back to him when the shot clock is running down. He takes atleast 2 or 3 shots a game where he's behind half court and does it just in case. And he never gets the calls similar players like Wade and Lebron get.-He shoots a low percentage because he's constantly double and triple teamed and is forced to take shots. And like I said he doesn't get bailed out by the refs like other star players in the leauge do.

Kobe had no chance. His team wasnt going anywhere and Phoenix and Dallas were. I think it was between Nash and Dirk.
