I've had a person on a previous board threaten to drive up to Seattle and put me in the hospital. He claimed that his wife (or gf? can't remember) had just left him and he didn't mind going back to prison. It's actually a bit scary when people say that sort of thing, knowing that someone with a brain could find out my street address within, like, 15 minutes. Ed O.

That's just his night job at the chop shop HCP. While it is "techinically" rolling it's only cause he has it in neutral and is pushing the open door to get it on the lift.

You just have to handle it like the Russians... There's a reason why not many terrorists attack Russia. If you suicide bomb, they kill your family, and pretty much anyone who knew you, so you're not just killing yourself. So just fight fire with fire, if someone threatens to kill you, tell them you have people who will kill their entire family and anyone who knows them if you are harmed in any way. Seems to work for Russia
I know. I post semi-anonymously, but there's easily enough info about me that I share on the board that someone could hop online, find my address, get into a car and drive up to get me. It seems paranoid, but that makes it no less true. Haha. No. I made fun of Hap's spelling (which has improved REMARKABLY since I used to poke fun at him) and he'd make fun of my utter lack of emotion (much like my brother, who was best man at my wedding). We never threatened to go to prison over kicking the shit out of the other person, though... Ed O.
Once had an angry poster theaten to drive to Portland from Texas to get me. He was an ex-board admin and had my IP address. There are programs you can use to locate someone if you get their IP address.
