    pretty interesting. I would imagine it is because players are worried about their shot? Idk, it seems like basketball requires quite a bit of muscle memory, not sure if it is any more than other sports, but it seems like it is. Maybe players have been too afraid it will backfire on them

    am i the only one who thinks steriods wouldnt help out a person's jumper thats why doping isnt big?

    Not all performance enhancing drugs are about building bulk....some are designed as anti-inflammatory meds, which allow a player to work out more frequently without the pain associated with tired and broken down muscle(yes, even smaller guys would benefit)....I could see an NBA player using to add lower body strength though....the game is based somewhat on the ability to elevate and added lower body strength would aid in that....plus, the stronger your lower body and core, the more range you will have....as long as its done in the offseason, shooting can be adjusted for new found strength....
