The Late 90's and early 00's IMO was the best time of basketball. You had Shaq, Duncan, Iverson, Kobe, Vince all going insane. It was a great time for basketball. Today the game is "ruined" by the officials and the game belongs to the guards now which makes it less interesting for me.I think a new Rivalry has already budded for this decade. The Spurs and the Pistons.

i'm going with the 90's. they had argueably 2 of the top players at their respected postions playing at the same time. (Michael Jordan, Karl Malone) Not to mention Scottie Pippen, John Stockton, Hakeem Oloujawan, David Robinson, Charles Barkley, etc.
Im going with the 90's to. They had the greatest player ever. A lot of other great players. Some of the great players from the 80's played early during the decade. And most our favorite players of today were drated in the 90's.

Shaq and Tim Duncan don't even get 20 and 10 anymore. Chris Webber is another I used to love watch and now I get the oppurtunity more than ever since he's in Philly, but frankly this isn't the same Webber. This Webber takes silly 18 foot with a hand in his face. Name me on other big man who can lead their team to a title.David Stern is obviously trying to make guards control the game and that ruins it for me. Everyone knows Kobe, Iverson, Wade, and especially LeBron control the game at least by officiating reasons. I see bigman getting analed down low and whistles are silent.Today the game is completely dominated by guards. The best scoring big man in the league is Dirk Nowitzki and he is 8th. Hell he doesn't even play like a true big man. He is the only big man in the top 10.
I would go 80s..You got Magic and Bird and then MJ comes into the picture midway through the decade..
I made was in a huge debate with someone on the other site. Huge topic on how the 90's are the best.Dream Team, Rivalries, Expansions, MJ, Best Duo ever- Stock and Malone, there is a ton of reasons why 90's are the greatest.
