Re: Forrest Griffin suffers dislocated jaw, hearing loss

I feel bad for Griffin, and I have a lot of respect for the guy. When he was running out of the ring I figured something was wrong because he's a very classy guy, win or lose.

that hearing loss injury sounds really bad, I hope its not something that's permanent.

this makes sense as to why he was running out of the arena..

Initial reports that Griffin suffered a dislocated jaw and partial hearing loss are untrue, says MMAWeekly:

Its gotta be embarrassing for any UFC fighter to get beat like that. Even Griffin who's still in good spirits after a nasty loss like he was in the Rashad fight. Did he even land a punch?

According to FightMetric he was 1/35, that lone shot being a jab that Silva mocked him for.

Silva really got into Griffin's head during the fight. When Silva was yelling at him to pour it on Griffin just shrugged and looked confused and then proceeded to throw a couple to weak shots.

I've never seen Forrest like that. He cried after Jardine, but that...was strange. I really don't believe he is mentally stable right now. Like Dana said, he is very emotional...but that was just strange.
