Denver is absolutely bonkers over the Broncos. The Nuggets might still be 4th after Donkeys/Rockies/Avs.
Outside of LA, I don't think there are any other true NBA cities that have more than one franchise. NFL is king, and MLB might be more popular than the NBA.
I considered adding him to the list... but tbh, I kind of wanted him on our team this summer. He would have brought some intensity to the second unit. Melo, KMart, and Smith are just punks.
It is probably fair to say that the Patriots are more popular right now. And that the Red Sox are slightly more popular than the Celtics, what do i know i've never been there. But I don't think New Yorkers like the Mets typically. It's really a New Jersey team. Although if one wants to include NJ in that whole situation...
Rochester, Fort Wayne, Syracuse, Baltimore, Indianapolis, Anderson, Sheboygan, and Waterloo. I would think that cities in Tennessee, North Carolina, Kentucky, and Indiana might be great NBA cities as well.
Gahhh! I live in SoCal and LA is not a L*ker town, it's a fairweather NBA town. They didn't sell out many games last year, compared with the Dodgers who are routinely selling more than 3 million tickets per year. I heard they are on track for 3.6 million this year. Dodger fans are quieter and don't go around and stay stupid and obnoxious things like L*ker fans so you don't notice them (us) as much. Hopefully none of you think being a Blazer fan is a conflict of interest with being a Dodger fan. I was a Blazer fan when Wicks was in town messing up the chemistry and was a Dodger fan when Garvey, Cey, Russell and Lopes were there and there were no Mariners, Rockies or other nearby teams.
No on Houston. The Texans rule here.....barely. Floowed prbably by the Astros and then Rockets. Everything fails in comparison to college anything though LOL
METS...New Jersey? Maybe Queens! In order: (where the NBA rules over all other pro sports) Lakers Blazers Spurs Rockets Thunder
