NY Post - A source has told Marc Berman that former Duke and Chicago point guard Jay Williams is on the Knicks' radar.Williams has been practicing in Manhattan at the Chelsea Piers, as well as in Houston with Penny Hardaway.Williams is looking to get invited to a summer-league team this July with plans of playing in the NBA next season, three years after tearing three ligaments in his left knee and severing a nerve in his leg.Why do they want all the bull players GeeeeeeeezAnyway i really want to see jay come back no matter where it is.Looks like Ny might really wanna trrade marbury then if they get wills
yea i heard about that. i would love it if they signed jay dubbs. he's a better pg than marbury is and he can shoot better from the outside and he plays defense and he works harder. i hope they get him. :beerchug:

I dont see how Jay will would help. the knicks have plenty of guards. They should first figure out what the hell they are doing before going after a player who can barely play anymore.
They said hes lateral movement is bad, like he can jump but his quickness to change directions isnt nearly as good as it use to be

But the point he was trying to make IMO was that jay wills legs are strong once again and thats a great sign.

Paxson always told jay he would give him a chance with bulls. Ithink we should get jay back and let pargo go

So the Knicks become aware that they have a logjam of guards/swingmen with Jalen Rose, Quentin Richardson, Marbury, Crawford, Robinson and Francis, so the solution is to bring in another one in Williams?? Ahh I love Isiah Thomas..
