Been using this for years. Awesome! (cayenne to taste) Ciao 1/2 c paprika 3 T cayenne pepper 5 T freshly ground black pepper 6 T garlic powder 3 T onion powder 6 T salt 2.5 T dried oregano 2.5 T dried thyme In a medium bowl, combine all the ingredients. Mix well and store in a cool, dry place in an airtight container. Rub on beef, chicken or pork at least 30 minutes before cooking or grilling.
Thanks man! I'm asking because I'm giving it a try; it looks fantastic. If it sucks, however, I'm comin' to the 'Couv and kicking your ass, even if you are a fellow survivor of The Commons!
ABM, with the salt, are you using Kosher, Iodized or Pickling? The measurements turn out differently depending on which kind.
I've always just used iodized. I think you'll love it! Everyone else does..................although, some of the wimpy folk reduce the cayenne a bit. Enjoy!
Sounds good ABM. I have been using some pre made stuff that is bad ass from this company: http://www.dizzypigbbq.com/ Happy Grillin!
Sure, that would work, as well. Loves me some ribs!!!!!!!! Wife is out of town on business this weekend so I'll be "batching" it. No doubt, the grill will be fired up every night!
