Would we be going on this board if we were in the same position as the Cavs and the Heat? Their superstars have not resigned withthem yet. And LeBron has stated he will play the free agent market next year . Shit, this place was going nuts with the BRoy situation! Who knows what Wade will do. All I know is that if either team loses their guy, it will devistate the franchise!

The situations are a little different.

From all accounts, Brandon WANTED to be here. Lebron and Wade don't seem to have the same love for their respective teams.

I think that was the reason so many people were upset. Most teams try and sign their stars early and long term, but the Blazers seemed to want to do the opposite.

I thought I heard both LBJ and Wade say they love their respective teams/cities and would love to play there?

I could be wrong, wouldn't be the first time!

    Aldridge / Outlaw
    Oden / Przybilla

82-0... Make it happen, Mr. Allen!

I think the Cav's organization is in panic. They would give Lebron any contract he wanted . . . but beyond that, they are out there spending all kinds of cash trying to show Lebron the Cav's commitment to winning. (I think the Heat are doing the same thing)

This is a huge year for the Cavs. If they crash and burn and don't make the playoffs or are out in the first round . . . I could see Lebron looking for a change.

Why do I hear different from all the other accounts in print, about Roy wanting the player option.. and the team wanting 5th year guaranteed?

Well since I have never been sane to begin with, I would probably not be that much more crazy. But I can only speak for myself. and Myself. :devilwink:

I wouldn't be surprised to see one of them leave their relative team for bigger markets. Chicago comes to mind for Dwayne Wade. New York comes to mind for LeBron. What would be nuts if one of them lands in LA with Kobe.

Hope that doesn't happen. LA snatched up Snaq 13 years ago. They could be a real player for Lebron. If Kobe can refrain from feeling that it's a conflict of interest.
