Worse pain than a diseased stone filled gall bladder?

Not that I am aware of. Mine is in the toxic waste disposal at a hospital in Vegas.

I guess I am lucky that my gall bladder went first. My heart tested fine amongst other things.

I am thinking that I am going to be a health nut from now on.

If anyone is like I was and has trouble eating fatty foods and bad gas after doing so, get yourself checked out.

Thanks man, I have had what I felt was an iron stomach for years. I could eat anything without so much as burping.

I got older and fatter and viola...it felt like death. I was lucky that they could do it as a laproscopic surgery. Feeling better.

You in Vegas huh? Sounds like you need a hot nurse lap dance.

You home or in the hospital?

Thanks guys, there would be more single child families if child birth was this bad. I googled it and women who had it claim it to be worse. FUCK

Me too, I have stuck a staple in my arm to show off before. Last Sunday night about 8pm my back started hurting, tried to go to bed a little later and the pain started moving toward my right side and upper abdomen. Intense to say the least.

I tried laying on the floor, no good. I tried sitting on the couch, no good. I tried everything. I burped and burped and vomited and felt a little better by about 5 am so I could sleep for a few minutes.

Got up to try and go to work, no deal. Went to urgent care and they thought I had a urinary tract infection. Gave me Cipro for the infection and Loritabs for the pain. After two days of only drinking enough water to take the pills and go to sleep I felt a little better and went to work Wednesday through Friday.

Thursday I started eating more and started feeling worse so Friday afternoon I went back to urgent care and they did a chest x-ray and sent me to the hospital after they saw the infection in my upper right quadrant.

    Got home yesterday.

Went to University Medical Center, there seemed to be about 40 homeless people trying to get drugs for every two patients with insurance like me.

I turned 35 last month. The doctors were surprised at how my heart tests were all good and my blood pressure and blood sugar are good.

I eat healthy for the most part but will binge on junk (not anymore) so despite my pretty physically demanding job my weight was right at 400 lbs. I would say I gained about 15 lbs each year for the last 10. It adds up.

The doctors were surprised that I weigh that much but when I was 24 I weighed 265 lbs and had a lean mass of 239. I lifted weights and could play full court ball for hours on end.

I am six feet two but only have a 30 inch inseam so I have rather short legs and a long upper body. I am quite the physical freak, just not in the good way like Dwight Howard. :sigh:
