What works for other countries is meaningless. Norway nationalized their oil fields and runs every govt. service off the revenues from that. I'd love to see us try to run our govt. off only our oil field revenues.

There's a big difference between being a cop or a fireman and a doctor. I don't recall someone spending $125K, four years of school and two years of residency to become a beat cop. Cops can also become private security. They don't have to work for a municipality.

Huge tits, no, but there are valid medical reason why a person may need a sex change. There are a handful of genital birth defects that can lead to a person being raised as the wrong sex. For these people, a sex change isn't the result of one day waking up and saying, 'i want to change my sex." Its because from age 2 on they've identified as a member of the opposite sex and because if it weren't for that birth defect, would have been raised differently.

Okay, name someone who has been refused treatment when they've been urgently sick. It doesn't happen.
I want to know how my recent experience with our health care system would have went if Obama got everything he wanted? Here is what happened? Got horribly bad pains on a Sunday night, went to quick care in morning. Was given antibiotics and pain pills to treat possible urinary tract infection. Paid 25 bucks. Got better but not completely better by Friday, went back to quick care. Paid 25 more bucks. Got x ray and exam and sent to ER. Went to ER, was admitted within an hour. At about 6pm. They did tests and made sure I was stabilized and sent me to my own private room by 3am. Was given more fluids and antibiotics, given more tests. Diagnosed with bad gallbladder and had surgery Tuesday morning. Was sent home Friday afternoon and I am getting drastically better every day. I am very heavy and the doctors fought hard to finish my surgery laproscopically and they did just that. I begged them to because I need to get back to work, trying to buy a house as I type this. I should have to take this week off and will make an appt to meet with the surgery team Friday or so to be cleared for work. While I was there, about 1000 homeless people came in claiming chest pains and trying to get prescriptions. There were also a few problems with communication at the hospital, my girlfriend just had to keep on their butts to find out what was going on. Overall, it was a HORRIBLE experience because it just had to be. In the end though, everything seems to have gone great and I feel I got really good care. I have to pay another 150 bucks towards my deductible for the year but the rest is paid for by what I now find out is pretty good insurance. (thanks boss) So, how would government run healthcare help me? I just renewed my driver's license in July and they now SEND THEM IN THE FUCKING MAIL. Well, I didn't get mine and the paper they gave me said to wait until August 6th and then call if I didn't get it. Now I can't drive until my girlfriend takes me to the DMV so I can pay more money and have them make me another one. Where is the one I was supposed to get? THEY DON'T FUCKING KNOW, but I will have to watch my credit report and hope I don't have any warrants for my arrest that I don't deserve. GO GOVERNMENT...YEAH.

No, of course not. Then again, if your coverage changes even a little, you're forced into the public option. If you lose your employer insurance, you're forced into the public option. If your employer decides he'd save money by getting rid of private insurance (and he would) then you're automatically in the public option. And if you decide you don't want insurance, you're automatically enrolled in the public option. But no one will force you to change to a public option...
