Re: The good, the bad,and the GM's... Who do you think have been the worst GM's in the last 5 years?I'll throw a few out.Isiah Billy King
Re: The good, the bad,and the GM's... The best GM is Joe Dumars. The worst GM is Isiah Thomas. Even though he has got the talent the cap and salaries for the team are rediculous.
Re: The good, the bad,and the GM's... I think Mitch kupchak has been horrible, he was riding Jerry wests cocktail.I want west back.
Re: The good, the bad,and the GM's... I don't think Billy King is that bad. He's put together a very nice starting line-up, they just need defense and depth.Isiah is definitely the worst. did any one ever teach him how the cap works?
Re: The good, the bad,and the GM's... Billy King isn't the worst, but he's down there with the worst in the league. The best GM's have been Joe Dumars, RC Buford, and Colangelo, just to name a few.
Re: The good, the bad,and the GM's... One of the best is Jerry West. The Laker would still be winning championships if he was still with them.
Re: The good, the bad,and the GM's... Best: Dumars, Rod Thorn, Jerry WestWorst: Isiah Thomas, Rob Babcock

Name me one bad move he has done while being the Nets gm.
Re: The good, the bad,and the GM's... Zo got us Carter, so he fixed a mistake. Mutombo did ok I wouldnt call him a mistake. Childs I dont remember.
Re: The good, the bad,and the GM's... He has definatly made mistakes as GM, but he has made some great trades that definatly outshine those..1. Jason Kidd for Stephon Marbury-turned the franchise around completely2. Vince Carter for Aaron Williams, Alonzo Mourning, Eric Williams and 2 first round draft picks-after the loss of KMart, we get a superstar in return to reshape the team after a tough season..Plus we get rid of Alonzo aka the big <Censored>..3. Richard Jefferson, Jason Collins and Brandon Armstrong for Eddie Griffin-the draft day massacre, he gets two starters in exchange for a player whom Houston will eventually cut after numerous runins with the law..4. Electing to not resign Martin- he was clearly overpaid by Denver and Im glad we decided to let him go for the money it would have cost us to keep him..<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Jkidd51524 @ Apr 13 2006, 01:55 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Zo got us Carter, so he fixed a mistake. Childs I dont remember.</div>It wasnt so much his fault with Zo, Zo was just a <Censored> but we ended up being able to dump him on Toronto..Mutombo was terrible for us that one year, we were paying him tons of money and ended up buying out his contract, putting us in salary cap problems for several years..Childs was one of many attempts at a backup PG for Kidd, we offered him a pretty hefty contract for a reserve and he ended up being terrible, showed up to camp over weight and never performed well in the limited time he ended up playing..
Re: The good, the bad,and the GM's... Oo didnt know that...Well hes still the best gm in the league :winkglasses:

Re: The good, the bad,and the GM's... I think that makes Thorn one of the best if not the best GM's in the league..The four moves he made that I mentioned to turn the Nets around as well as drafting the greatest player of all time..Not to shabbyyy
Re: The good, the bad,and the GM's... Best: Paxson, considering the amount of time hes had with the Bulls hes completely changed this teamWorst: Isiah Thomas, i dont even have to tell you why
