I actually don't mind that they say rip city on them, I just wish they woul dhave made those more old school like the Warriors did with their "The City" uniforms.

Gotta say too it's pretty sweet to see Porter back doing some things with the organization. Great to see him with the Blazers again in whatever role he's in.

Casey called the rip city jersey as an "alternate" on his twitter.

Makes me think we'll see it more than once this season. Maybe it's like the Lakers wearing white jerseys on all Sunday home games.

I like the ones that say Portland as well. Maybe these don't because the team won't be in Portland for long.....That HAS to be it! :devilwink:

I like the Rip City ones. Nobody else has done it, and I think it's cooler than El Heat.

I might not hate them so much if the font were different. Maybe that's it for me? They might look to graphic designy

Are these going to be used only for selected games or are these the uniforms that will be worn splittingly for 82 games?

    I like both uni's!

My guess is that these will be used for only a couple of games.

Agreed, it's not the "rip city" part that bothers me as much as how fucking busy they are. They're all over the place.

Too many stripes and the little pinwheel logo, and then the names and numbers don't match the front of the jersey then the stuff all over the sides.

    I don't get it.

Would be a huge improvement if the name and numbers were just 1 layer solid twill (Like the "Rip City" on the front) and the same bleeding font as "Rip City" wouldn't hurt either.

If they used the rip city font for the names and numbers I think they'd look MUCH MUCH better. they're just kind of all over the shop IMO

I do too. I don't watch the game for the Uni's anyways. But, I haven't ever been a big fan of the blazers uniforms.

Any of them. I take that back. The one I did like a lot of ther people didn't That was the ones they unveiled in 92.

Why would anyone else have done a "Rip City" jersey?

I think the ripcity one would look fine if it said portland like the lenny jersey already posted. That was the best jersey in franchise history and they keep giving us the vertical one...
