If the Sixers miss the playoffs this season do you guys think Iverson will be traded?Sixers fans always seem to blame everyone but Iverson. Its either the coaches fault of his supporting cast's fault.I used to hear every day at my school "Iverson needs a second option" Iverson has had plenty of second options and NONE of them have worked out. Is it a coincidence or is Iverson the problem?Over the years he has had Tim Thomas,Chris Webber,Keith Van Horn,Larry Hughes,Glenn Robinson,Derrick Coleman ,All those guys are viable second options. However with Iverson it didnt seem to work.He also had his share of solid role players as well:Aaron McKieGeorge LynchRaja BellKenny ThomasBruce BowenSpeedy ClaxtonEric SnowMatt HarpringJumaine JonesTyrone HillTheo RatliffMatt GeigerBrian SkinnerRodney RogersDikembe MutomboI know I am forgetting some but this is off the top of my head and I am too lazy to go look it up.Are you guys sure its not Iverson you should be blaming? Do you think if the Sixers miss the playoffs Iverson will be gone?
Iverson has changed, the years before this one he was a ball-hog if you ask me.But,this year he has really changed,he has been passing the ball alot more and doing what he has to do to win.People always blame Iverson and not the team itself,I think if they don't make the playoffs it will not be Iversons fault, although I highly doubt Iverson will let the Sixers miss the playoffs. If they miss the playoffs this year it will NOT be Iversons fault.
If I were the sixers I would trade AI this offseason. I know this move would come with alot of controversy in Philly, but he is coming off a great year and is getting up there in age. He takes a beating every game because of his size and fierce attitude towards the game, and its going to begin to take a toll on him. I would trade him while his value is high because I only see it going down from here. Get what you can for him before his value begins to drop..

I honestly beleive that the Sixers can do great thing with AI. He does not he does not need to be traded. For the Sixers to be a contendor or some sort the players around him must play a certain way. He can score as many point as he wants. As long as C-Webb stays around 18 or 19. With Webber not having the ball as much as he used to have in Sacramento AI can Distribute the ball better. He had 10 assists last night and 15 the last game with out C-Webb. With AI sucessfully distributing the ball players who are barried under Iverson and Webber can have great scoring nights. Like Korver and Iguodala who are both capable of scoring 20 a night.Another way is if Webber scores around 25 a game he has to also average about 6 assists also. I that wil also brighten up Iggy and Korver's play.So Iverson should not be traded. We have seen the Iverson Webber fair greatly, and we have also seen it have its problems. But they can make it work if the play right.

This guy is a warrior,he plays through every injury and no matter how hard he gets beat up he keeps on,I don't think he will get banged up enough.
Im not taking anything away from him, hes a great player and he has fought through alot of injuries, but you cant fight age. When you get older, you get weaker and those injuries that you may have been able to avoid in your younger years are more of a threat to you..His performance will begin to decrease, I guarantee it, and just like Shaq, the beating he takes will start to take a toll on him and affect his performance. I would trade him this offseason because his value is only going down from here..
Yeah, I agree that the sixers should trade him this year because I believe he can't do any better then he's doing... he's going down down... DOWN!

Gleen Robinson and Colemen were over the hill when they were in Philly.
If Sixers are smart, they'll trade Iverson and start rebuilding. He's the guy the needs to be traded in order for them to start rebuilding. I can't see anyone taking Webber's contract.
i think the sixers would be stupid to trade AI. He's been the face of their franchise for a decade, one season w/o the playoffs shouldn't be enough for their parting.
So what if they make the playoffs, are they gonna make a impact? Their just be a mediocre team if they keep Iverson.

Another thing. The Sixers have mad BIG mistakes when they traded their superstars like Wilt and Barkley. Then look what happened to them after those to trades. I dont think they want to dao that again.

His windows closing and I don't see any real help on the way.

I think that AI's stock shouldn't drop for about 3 more years so i think you can hold on to him for a little bit longer....let him coach Andre for a few more years because he is going to be the face of the Sixers for the future. I personally think that AI's supporting cast isnt that bad this year.....there 2 centers arent bad in Sammy D and Steven Hunter and I think that Chris Webber is having a good year.....so I think that AI is to blame for the average season this year but I say hold on to him for a couple more and see what he can do....
Ai doesn't play defense, neither does his team. I coach better than Maurice cheeks. Not entirely his fault.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>I coach better than Maurice cheeks.</div>You must be drunk tonight, you say that and then say you play better defense then Dirk. Talking a lot about players that are 100% better then you.
