Anyone else finding this show virtually unlistenable at this point? Their use of silly catch phrases ("gettin' it DONE ... or ... "SHAKE yourself"), same crappy guests, the "cold hard mix" on Friday mornings. Ugh. It's really too bad that we have two sports radio stations in this market and neither one of them can seem to come up with a decent drive-time show.
I can handle the "Around the NBA" segment and thats usually all of my drive to work. But they do annoy the everloving crap out of me. Oh and I'm a Bronco fan, and today I wanted him to shut the F up.
I listen to it about 30% of the time these days during my morning commute. About 80% of the time during the season. They are weak, but I appreciate that they are trying to keep it edgey and current. They get decent guests and aren't afraid to rip on player, coaches or organizations (although their rationale usally stinks). I used to like the cracking of a beer (love that sound) . . . but they are over doing that one too.
Remember what I posted on here last season? Dawson had his media credentials taken away because he let a friend of his use them to get back in the media area! What a jerk-off!
