    How does...

Michael Vick get 2 years for killing dogs.

Plaxico Burress get 3-5 years for shooting himself in the leg.

Donte Stallworth get 1 year for driving drunk and killing somebody.

Maybe I'm getting some of these facts wrong, because otherwise, none of this makes any sense. :dunno:

Well Plax was carrying a concealed weapon into a club, that's where a lot of the charges come from. The Stallworth stuff makes no sense, Especially in comparison to the others.

Stallworth actually got 30 days in jail, 1000 hours of community service, 2 years of house arrest, and a permanent revocation of his driver's licence.....He served 24 days of that sentence and was released.....2 years of house arrest for a multimillionaire is not much of a punishment in my opinion, he can have just about anything he needs delivered including woman....

The legal system is very flawed no doubt. As far as I'm concerned driving a car while drunk is like pointing a gun at someone so I agree.

Mike Florio who practiced law I believe summed it up pretty well as to why Stallworth got off easy.

I'm sure this had something to do with it. Stallworth plead guilty as soon as possible, expressed regret immediately, and basically threw himself at the mercy of the court. Plax refused to consider a plea bargain, even when everyone around him was telling him it was in his best interests. The dude's ego made the prosecution go after him as hard as they could.

Stallworth fucked up hardcore, but immediately accepted what he did and tried helping the victim. He was upfront with the police from the very beginning, asked for forgiveness, apologized to everyone, and let himself be in the hands of the court.

Plax was an idiot. NY has some strict gun laws. Plus he went to the hospital under an alias, and turned now a plea deal where he would've served like 3 months.

Vick...I think his time was excessive. They were dogs, not humans.
