Gotta love his confidence. though, Im not sure if I agree with him or not. It would be hard to hand over the Lakers to a coach with no head coaching expirience, even if it is Kareem Abdul Jabbar
Are you against Brian Shaw succeeding PJax? He doesn't have any head coaching experience either. What's interesting is the hypocrisy of the media calling out KAJ for being quiet and not engaging etc. Our current coach PJax has an identical personality.
Just read that in ESPN about Kareem, kinda disturbing, but I hope it doesn't stop him from continuing to mentor Bynum.
Kinda. I would rather have Rambis or B. Scott if PJ was to leave today. I like B Shaw but do think he needs some more time on the sidelines. And at least he has been an assistant coach since he stopped playing. Totally agree. Everyone has this cookie cutter view as to what a player/coach looks and acts like. Some outside the box thinking would be nice to see. I always think its funny how there are coaches in the NBA with terrible track records who get coaching jobs just cuz they have been around. I dont give a shit what the methods are as long as they are productive
I'm fine if KAJ wants to lobby for himself, it is just that this team needs a more experienced option. I wouldn't mind if KAJ became more involved here or got a promotion somewhere else though.
I give KAJ props for actually using available technology like blogs, tweeting etc. He embraces the new technology and uses it to his advantage.
